AAY / 01Coral reef restoration
Mapping, nursery care, coral planting, and reef monitoring with young divers and coastal partners.

Protecting Aceh's ocean legacy through coral reef restoration, mangrove planting, coastal clean-ups, and practical conservation education for young ocean stewards.

Aceh Aquatic Youth is a youth-led community of divers, educators, students, and ocean advocates working at the western tip of Indonesia. We combine field restoration with education so coastal communities and young volunteers can protect reefs, seagrass beds, and mangrove habitats together.

AAY / 03Workshops, public talks, and field learning that help young people understand reef ecology and stewardship.

Our work is designed for long-term continuity: young volunteers learn field skills, communities stay involved, and partners connect restoration with policy, science, and local knowledge.
