Since its establishment, Aceh Aquatic Youth has actively carried out various environmental conservation programs across Aceh. The organization has successfully planted over 1,000 coral fragments in the waters of Sabang and Banda Aceh, contributing directly to the restoration of damaged reef ecosystems.
In addition, they have planted more than 1,000 mangrove seedlings in various coastal areas of Aceh to help protect shorelines from erosion and support coastal biodiversity. Aceh Aquatic Youth also conducts regular beach clean-up activities, focusing on removing plastic waste from beaches and raising public awareness of marine pollution.
These clean-ups often involve volunteers from the local community and youth groups.Beyond field action, the organization places a strong emphasis on environmental education and outreach, Through workshops, public talks, and collaborative programs, they have reached schools, universities, and local communities to spread knowledge about marine ecosystems, the impact of human activities and the importance of conservation.
With each activity, Aceh Aquatic Youth continues to build a growing network of young environmental stewards, committed to protecting the ocean and coastal habitats for future generations.
